If the school that you are interested in has improved their performance consistently over the past few years, they are more likely to stay performing well.
Neighborhood Demographics
You also want to take a look at the neighborhood demographics. You should be able to ask your real estate agent if they have that information. What you are looking for is the average age of the other homeowners in the area, as well as if there are a lot of children. You want to know that you are moving into a neighborhood where you will be comfortable for a long time.
